Linda Johnson

Linda Karen Johnson, 71, of Benton, Arkansas passed from this life on December 4, 2016. She was born on November 3, 1945 to the late Ben and LeVonne Hood in Plainview, Texas. Linda was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Eastern Star, a member of the Church of Rock Creek, and an avid Atlanta Braves Baseball fan. Most of all she was a loving mother and friend to all who knew her.

She is also preceded in death by her husband Roy Andrew Johnson. Linda is survived by her children; Jodi Wheeler of Sherwood and Bobby Johnson (Tina) of Mayflower, Christopher Geren of Benton who was like a son; grandchildren, Ashley Clawson (Zach), Kevin Johnson (Kayla), Lydia Johnson, Danielle Carlock (Nate), and Cody Everett; Great-Grandchildren, Devin and Aubrey Johnson, Kailyn and Julia Clawson and Ainsley Carlock; one sister, Janis Hood of Sherman Oaks, California, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas with burial to follow at Forrest Hills Cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 12-1:00pm prior to the funeral service at the funeral home

    What a loving beautiful soul. She was Mom to many including me. I met her 34 years ago at the VA. She taught me many things about a good work ethic and how to be the best technician but she also taught me about life and love. I will miss her laugh. Prayers for peace to the family.
