Lexie M. McCallister, 57 of Alexander, Arkansas passed from this life on November 18, 2017. She was born on June 25, 1960 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Harry McClendon Sr. and Marilyn Ogles McClendon. Lexie attended Hilldale Baptist Church, loved spending time in the outdoors, fishing, camping, but most of all spending time with her family and cooking holiday meals for them.
She is survived by her husband, David A. McCallister; children, Anna Berry, James Sanders, Heather McCallister; grandchildren, Justin, Michael, Austin, Cami, Zachary, Lexie, Logan, Chancellor, Brittany, Jonathan, Brandy; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Nova, Lucas, Justin, James, Marena, Anna; and a host of other family and friends. Lexie is also preceded in death by her siblings, Larry McClendon, Barny Sanders, Carolyn Russell and daughter, Linda Sanders.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 1:00pm at A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 prior to the funeral.
