Georgia Ann Stone was born June 21, 1937 to Cecil and Ruth Lindsey. She passed away on September 3, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 78. She worked at the North Little Rock School District for 28 years. Georgia is survived by her beloved husband, Freddie Stone; son, Rick Stone and grand-daughter, Katie Stone. She is also survived by seven siblings; Irma Shoffner, Mary Hunt, Lois Wallis (Jimmy), Steve Lindsey (Glenna), Phillip Lindsey, Freddy Lindsey (Nettie) and Charles Lindsey (Brenda). Georgia also left behind several nieces, nephews and cousins. As well as a host of friends and loved ones from the NLR School District and the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on September 8, 2015 at the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation to the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ “building fund” at 117 W. Maryland Avenue Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.

Freddie, So sorry to hear about Georgia. I remember you all from when we both worked for Ed Lyon and I later worked for Dr. Gray and Georgia worked for Mr. Pratt. So many years ago. I had wondered if you all ever moved back..
Georgia was always such a good, sweet person and so much fun to be around.. She will be greatly missed by so many.
