Melanie Sue Cox Machycek

Melanie Sue Cox Machycek, 49, of Austin passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. She was born on May 24, 1966 to the late Aubrey Hosie Cox and Mary Syble Morphis in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Melanie is survived by her daughter, Erica Machycek; her fiancé, Ricky Baughman; her sister, Judy and Thomas Bell.

Melanie has a love for the outdoors as well as a passion for animals. She had a free spirit and was a fun person to be around. She always thought of others before herself and loved to draw. Melanie attended the McArthur Assembly of God Church.

Funeral services will be Sunday, September 6, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at A Natural State Funeral Service Chapel located at 2620 W. Main Street Jacksonville, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville, Arkansas.

    Peace be with you Melanie. Ken and I will always remember the times we shared. Many bike rides, camping trips and good times together. We were there when Erica came into this word and you first became a Mom. So sorry for your loss Richard and Erica, our thoughts are with you both.
