Leonard Ray Nix, 67, of Vilonia was found on October 2, 2015. He was born on May 31, 1948 to the late Benny Nix and Bonnie Estes Nix of French Camp, California. Leonard was an avid wood worker and outdoorsman spending time in his wood shop and camping. He deeply loved his Lord and Savior as well as his grandchildren.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Betty of the home; siblings, Leona Green, Bonnie Ogden, Joe Nix and Ruby Tucker; son, Marty Nix and wife, April; two grandchildren, Jackson and Blair.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Beryl Baptist Church in Vilonia. Interment services will immediately follow at Kilgore Cemetery in Springfield, Arkansas. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Beryl Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 W.     Marty and April, we are so sorry about the lost of your father. We have lefted on a scheduled vacation so we will not be in town for the funeral. We love you and your family so much. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
