Katherine Finks, 86, of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 14, 2015. She was born to the late Claybon Bates Sr. and Minnie Pearl Porchia Bates in Mt. Holly, Arkansas on March 9, 1929. Katherine is also preceded in death by her daughter, Mildred Jean Erby; her brothers, Troy, Jimmy Lee, George, Leroy, and Claybon Jr. Bates; sisters, Emma Lee Dedmon and Lou Nettie Harris; and two grandchildren, Cedric and Regina Luckadue.
Katherine leaves behind a loving daughter, Jo Ann Washington of Jacksonville; five grandchildren, Jeff King, Shana Luckadue, Daphne Everett, Robyn Watkins and Mitchell Erby; and a host of great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Living Water Apostolic Church. Katherine also enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino and cooking for her family.
