May God hold you in his arms and bring you the comfort you need. I will miss Mrs Charlene. Her smile, her laugh, her love of music. She’s no longer bound by the body that kept her here on earth but gained her wings to fly leaving behind the pain and loss of memory she suffered daily from. My fondest memories will be her coming to visit and sit with me in the beauty shop to listen to music, particularly Elvis and Johnny Cash, two of her favorites. Or the day I heard her curse for the first time when she was missing seeing our Elvis impersonator who came to perform while she was sitting with a perm in her hair.

We are going to miss you so, so much. No one besides you and your sisters could bring anything but a smile to the face of anyone who knew you. You were and still are in our hearts the most sensible, caring and beautiful southern woman there is. We are glad your home in heaven with grandma and Aunt Imogene . We love you, we love and thank you for loving us.
