Dewey Ellis Johnson, 72, of McRae passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Little Rock. He was born on September 12, 1943 to the late Frank C. and Virginia Wilson Johnson in Florence, Alabama.

Dewey is survived by his son, Clyde Johnson of McRae and one granddaughter, Andrea Johnson of Maumelle.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street Jacksonville. 501-982-3400.

    Clyde David and family. I am sorry for the loss to your family. I have lost the last of my brothers and am sick with it. I am glad that your mom and I had a long talk and have promised to stay in contact with each other often.

    Clyde David and Family I am so sorry for your loss Uncle Dewey will be greatly missed. I just found out about this and its very heartbreaking for he was a good friend and likean Uncle to me. I lost daddy awhile back it’s just been just a year now. I can’t say what you are going through I went through because everyone greives different. With love and prayers to you and.your family.     Dewey Johnson worked for me for a few months in 2015, he is a loved GENTLEMAN : Great worker and there are times today I wondered about him. Sending love to heaven from us here.
