Floyd Eugene Speer, 52, of Jacksonville passed away on May 12, 2016. He was born on September 12, 1963 to Alford O.D. Speer and Mary Catherine Parish in Lonoke, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his father.

Floyd is survived by his mother, Mary Catherine Speer of Jacksonville; wife, Becky Speer of Jacksonville; one brother, David Speer of Jacksonville; four sisters, Elaine Whaley of Jacksonville, Rhonda Manion of Wichita, Kansas, Debbie Milner and Marie Losey both of Jacksonville as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Road Baptist Church 702 E. Maddox Road Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400.

    Their are not enough words that I can say of what a great guy Eugene is. He loved our family and kids/animals and if in his might would do anything for us if needed and asked. Love you and going to miss you a lot. I know you are forever with our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Shinning down on us all. RIP Eugene. Our families prayers and hearts are with your whole family and loved ones. I am truly sorry.

    So sorry for your loss. I remember seeing him in church as well as the entire family. It was nice to see a family attend church together. I know he will be missed by all who knew him and by all who loved him.

    Eugene was my baby brother .we were like one as kids .i will miss him and his wonderful sense of humor.. Gene i love you more than words can say and we will meet again in the house of the lord. Until then rest in peace.
