Chad Michael McEwen, 41 of Sherwood, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. He was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas June 26, 1975 to the late Eric and Mary McEwen. Chad enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, making his family and friends laugh but most of all he loved his daughter and pride and joy Gracie.

He is also survived by his four siblings, Richard McEwen (Glennera), Robert McEwen, Sheril Shumaker (Johnny), Ron McEwen (Tonya); his ex-wife, Allison; nephews, Brandon and Jeffery McEwen and Zachary Shumaker; and numerous other family and friends

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 10:00 am at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400

    Chad you will be missed!! I will mis our conversations about the vaping world and how it brought people close together (especially the ones we thought we would never associate with)!!! My kiddos said they will miss playing games with you, like the hide and seek game that you and Dan played!! May you rest in peace and may your family have peace!!

    Chad’s family..while I never personally knew him, heard he was a good man. I pray for the family’s and friend’s peace of mind and comfort during this time

    This is my friend. He had a GREAT smile. Was VERY tall. Could cook a MEAN steak. Has a BEAUTIFUL daughter. THE BLUEST EYES EVER!!
    He was a bit of a smart mouth but that’s just part of his personality. 😊 He brought much joy to my friend and for that I’ll ALWAYS be grateful!! Thanks for all the help & laughs you gave me Chad! I’ll miss you. 😢
