Jessie Dean Martindale, 78, of Jacksonville passed from this life on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. He was born in Lepanto, Arkansas on August 11, 1938 to Jessie Melvin Martindale and Auda Beatrice Harris. Jessie is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Martindale; daughter, Kimberly Martindale; grandson, Noah Harrington; granddaughter, Amanda Colton and great-grandson, Joey Mahoney.

Jessie is survived by his fiancée, Edith Anderson; son, Jessie Dean Martindale Jr. of Fontana, California; three daughters, Tina (Kevin) Colton of Cabot, Arkansas, Duritha (Gary) May of Springdale, Arkansas and Stephanie Martindale of Stuttgart, Arkansas; thirty-nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Heather, Ethan, Blayne, Kaylee, Madison, Zachery, Jordan, Brandi, Joselyn, Caleb, Kandice, Tracy, Tristen, Jammie, Desaray, Joseph, Bubba, Sarah, Blain, Colton, Weston, Tiffany, Dannielle, Diane, David, Jessica, Tasha, Christi Anna, Christopher, Zoey, Ti, Lyric, Colton, Cade, Ella, Cole, Brantley, Camden and Eleanor; four brothers, Carroll Martindale of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Darrell Martindale of Paron, Arkansas, Tommy Martindale of Roland, Arkansas, Tim Martindale of Tulsa, Oklahoma and one sister, Betty Burleson of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to the start of service. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Martindale Cemetery off of Highway 10 in Little Rock.
