Angelia “Angie” Mechelle Bayless, 48, of Sheridan passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. She was born on September 19, 1968 in Beebe, Arkansas to Cecil Allen Bayless and Barbara Ann Shipman.
Angie was a very loving and special person with a warm heart. She would do anything for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Bayless and Barbara Shipman; three sisters, Teresa Gaines, Tracy Bayless and Ashley Bayless. Angie was of the Baptist faith.
Angie is survived by fiancé, Mark Holston of Sheridan; two sons, Justin Allen ‘J-Bird’ Bayless and Andrew Mitchell both of Sheridan; two grandchildren, Jordan and Jayden Bayless of Sheridan; five sisters, Kathy (Tim) Crook of Conway, Cynthia (David) Brady of Conway, Shela (Micky) Hopper of Greenbrier, Lesa (Danny) Barton of Ward and Christy (David) Kelley of Morrilton; three brothers, Tommy Taylor (Shelia) Bayless, Cecil Bayless II and Cody Bayless all of Ward.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel at the funeral home. Graveside services will begin at 3:30 p.m., Apple Hill Cemetery in Ward with Tony Kelley officiating.

I met Angie last year at her home with my brother Mark Holston She was a very loving kind nthoughtful lady She had a way about her that could make anyone feel comfortable She accepted me as family unconditionally as I did her She loved her Boys n grandkids n sisters with all of her heart She may not be here physically anymore but her spirit will always be with us RIP till we meet again Loved you Sis

I am sorry to learn of Angie’s passing. I remember her as a sweet, respectful student in my English classes at Mayflower HS. My condolences to her loved ones.

My dear friend,,,growing up as teens we were together everyday.Her mother opened her doors to any of their friends sometimes there were as many as 20 of us hanging out at their house.one thing I remember of Angie is at niight before we would go to sleep she always ,always said her prayers…I do not doubt the night she passed she had said her silent little prayer to the lord,,she always gave with all her heart and would give her last dollar if you ask for it…I will miss her much,,but it was awesome knowing her and a privelige to call her FRIEND……LOVEs

I met Ms. Bayless when she came for her grandson’s parent-teacher conference. What a sweet and caring lady. She had a deep concern & genuine love for her grandchildren. I am so saddened to hear of her passing and my prayers are with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren who are heavy on my mind.
