Elsie Faye Newton, age 76, of North Little Rock, passed away January 24, 2017. She was born in Cash, Arkansas on July 27, 1940. She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Clara Mae Walters.
Elsie is survived by three grandchildren, Christopher Gosa Pillow, Jeramy Gosa Pillow, and Nathan Kuehnert; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Earlene Smith and Lea Wyeoff of Jacksonville; two brothers, Mike Walters of Jonesboro, and Rick Walters of Bono, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.

Elsie was one of my best friends in Paragould. We worked together at Ely and Walker shirt factory back in the early 60’s. I visited her once after she remarried and mover to North Little rock. I snet her Christmas carad every year. she was a dear friend. I don’t understand why her daughter was not mentioned in her obituary. So sad there is no a memorial service. I would love to have come.
Every thing listed was Elsies wishes. There will be a memorial service in Jonesboro at a later date Nellie.
