Abby Vance Moudy, 68, of Austin, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 3, 2017. He was born in Woodruff County, Arkansas on October 20, 1948 to the late John and Dorothy Moudy. Vance enjoyed spending time woodworking, on his tractor around the house, or with his beloved dogs; Roadie, Layla, Mindy, Brownie and Little Bit.

He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Clayton and Wayne Moudy; three sisters, Ruth Moffitt, Ozia Tidwell, Luara Hughes; and one daughter, Patricia Moudy.

Vance is survived by his loving wife Kathy Moudy; five children, Vance Edward Moudy, Anita Montgomery, Lahonda Kay Moudy, Dorothy Quinn, Kimberly May; one brother, Harvey Moudy; four sisters, Gladys Gonzales, Nancey Guthrie, Lois Duke, Crystal White; a host of grandchildren and one great-grandchild; special friends Bubba and Christie Williams and numerous other family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 3:00 pm at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

    Van was a great fun guy, he shared many old racing story’s with me while working at the Hwy Dept, I valued his friendship immensely
