I used to love going to Aunt Burla’s beauty shop when I was little; I thought it was SO neat that she had her own business. She was an inspiration to me, and now I have my own business! Thank you, Aunt Burla! With love, Lisa

Burla was one of my favorite people and great student. I will always remember her overcoming her fear of Algebra to complete her GED. What a great lady with a great life’s story.
