Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Lavinia L. Shore, 43

20170303_171743

Lavinia “Bena” Shore, 43, born on November 26, 1973, passed away on March 2, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Troy, cherished daughter, Mya, brother and sister, Kenny and Sandy Brinkley, grandmother, Virginia Anderson, uncle, Hugh Woodward, and his wife, Susie, and her best friends Brandi Proetz and Mary Perez.

Bena was a woman of great kindness. She loved to talk and cook! She enjoyed hosting get-togethers and holidays for family, friends, and strangers. Her motto was “the more, the merrier.” It was not uncommon for her to have 50 people at her home, and she insisted everyone leave with a full belly and a to-go plate. She was an excellent cook, and her meals will be missed by all. Besides cooking, Bena loved being on the water. She was happiest when camping and boating with friends and family and listening to country music.

A memorial service will be held at New Hope Nazarene Church at 5519 Atwood, Little Rock, at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2017.
