Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Sue Taylor Bryan,

On April 16, 2017, Sue Taylor Bryan moved from her earthly home in North Little Rock, AR to her eternal home.  She spent her final days here the way she loved to spend her life: surrounded by family and friends.

Sue was raised in Helena, Arkansas and is preceded in death by her father and mother, George and Louise Taylor, and by her brother, Tommy Taylor.

Family and faith were the foundation of Sue’s life. Her family was her treasure and God was her center. She was unwavering in her conviction that she was “God’s favorite,” and lived her life to bring glory to Him. Sue opened her heart, life, and home to those around her.  From her family, to life-long friends, to her “Mama Sue Kids,” she loved them all fiercely.

Sue found joy in the small things: breakfast at Cracker Barrel with her grandkids, worshipping with her church family at Word Aflame Fellowship, and Sunday-afternoon lunches (preferably Mexican food!) with friends. She took pride in her work and felt blessed to be able to positively impact the lives of others while working with colleagues who became some of her closest friends.

Sue was stubborn, intensely loyal, loved to talk, and didn’t take herself too seriously. Known for her perpetual lateness, she can now formally be dubbed “The Late Sue Bryan.”

Left to celebrate Sue’s life are: her sons and daughters-in-law: Brian and Lisa, Scott and Carla, Larry and Stephanie; her grandchildren: Kyla, Jered, Chase (Kourtnee), Leyla, and George; one great-grandchild: Emersynn; Sue’s siblings: Tina (Richard) Wooten, George (Virginia) Taylor, Joann (Tommy) Holcomb and Dolores Sapp.

“Aunt Suzie’s” memory will be cherished by her nieces Spencer and Valerie (Nez), and her nephew Billy (Janet); her great-nieces and nephews Mallory (Andrew), Taylor, Kaylyne, Jordan, Lindsay, and Nico, as well the cutest great-great-niece and nephew around: Brooklyn and Wilson, also, her church family and many, many friends.

Sue’s funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Word Aflame Fellowship, 7800 interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the church. Committal will be a private family service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missions program at Word Aflame Fellowship. http://wordaflamelr.com/giving

Sue was loved and will be missed by my family, she was at every gathering, loved to talk, laugh, and give advice. We miss her,but she is now with her heavenly father clasped in his loving arms. I don’t think she is missing us.

Sue was not only GODSFAV but a favorite of us all. She would argue with anyone who tried to upstage her about God’s love. Our friendship is long, and we earned every white hair on our heads — what few that are left. Sue made her mark in the business world, church world, and her family world. We will all miss her, but heaven has received a worthy member.

Sue I love you and will miss you dearly. I loved our talks in the office and loved how sassy and straight forward you was to everyone. It is just going to be hard not to walk down the hall into your office and talk to you. Love you Sue.

Sue was light and smiles when she entered a room with her cute, tongue in cheek comments. If you knew Sue you knew her boys, and their families were her life. You also knew that any kid who crossed her path would be a Momma Sue’s kid. We will see you again in that sweet bye and bye. Much love and prayers to the Bryan family and friends.

I have so many many fond memories of my Aunt Susie. Wish we could be there to remember her with you all. Much love, Shelle

Sis Sue was a bright light who always had a word of encouragement for a new wife and new mother when I was both. I still find myself to this day, recalling bits of advise and help she gave me.
I cherish those memories and look forward to seeing her again, when she’ll most likely be waiting for all her “kids” at Heaven’s gates. Wanting to hear all we’ve all been up to since we last saw her.
God Speed and God Bless Sue!
