Mimi was a loving grandmother and great grandmother to all the children. I enjoyed spending time with her over the years. I know she had to miss her husband and children that went before her. I know it is a great reunion for them. God bless her until we meet again.

My condolences to Kala and Karla and your families. She was a good mother and grandmother. An awesome cook and a ball of energy. She will be dearly missed.

For me, the courage and strength she demonstrated in facing life’s tough things tended to mask Aunt Evelyn’s love and generosity. But I clearly saw these late in her life and now realize they were there all along. I love, admire and miss her. I once heard a wise man say, about a believer who had passed, “we haven’t lost her, we know exactly where she is”. Kayla, Karla and families, I hope you find comfort in knowing “exactly where she is”. God bless you, Joe
