Robert A “Nick” Reavis, 69

Robert A “Nick” Reavis, 69, of North Little Rock, was originally from Cushing, Oklahoma, but relocated to Little Rock, Arkansas in 1980. He and his wife Toni Reavis owned Steppin’Out Dance Studio for over 25 years. He was a choreographer and competitive national dance champion. Nick was a member of the National Dance Counsel of America, The Lion’s Club, The Mason’s and served his country in the Air Force during the Viet Nam War.

Known for his kind Spirit, humor and unconditional love towards others, his greatest pleasure was his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Nick will be missed by so many former students, family and friends.

Nick is survived by his wife Toni Reavis, children Alicin, Gena and Nick Reavis, grandchildren Raen, Ian, Amilio, Carmella, Sophia, and Jayla, one sister Renee’ Sparks and two nieces, Sheri and Julie.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 5025 Church Road, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72210.

A reception with refreshments will follow the service.

Floral deliveries can be made on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 3pm – 5pm at the church, contact Rev. Mary at 501-541-7789.

Cremation Arrangements are under the care and direction of A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, AR, 72076. 501-982-3400.

    He will be missed both on and off the Dance Floor. For the past 25 years I have danced with and admired all the teachers and students at Steppin’ Out Dance Studio. My heart felt condolences to Toni and all members of the Reavis family.

    This man is someone that I cherished to follow his footsteps. I’m so sorry for your loss. But I know now you’re holding hands with God looking down upon us so mr.     I will always remember Nick. His unique teaching style that usually included “Osmosis”. My heart goes out to Toni and family.

    I didn’t know Nick well but when I met him in 1988, I thought he was the best dancer and instructor in Little Rick. Tonite and he taught many newbies to dance and teach.

    So sorry to hear of Nicks passing. We enjoyed our time with him at Steppin Out and.Nick was always fun to dance with. Even when he was walking you could tell he was a dancer. Tony, I’m sure Nick is dancing in heaven and you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
