I can’t even begin to say what a honor of being one of Joyce Starks adopted kids was. She took care of me many days and years when I need her. She was an outstanding lady ,mother, friend and role model.tThere was many days when I felt I couldn’t go any longer but with her smile and words of encouragement I went on and grew to be a lady now with a lot of her trades of loving and caring for everyone and mostly children..she will be greatly missed by many. But God had a plan for her in heaven now along side of him.I love you and we will meet again one day and I can’t wait for the Carmel corn again🙏🏻

Joyce was very instrumental in my childhood because she was the first strong female role model in my life. Rest in peace Joyce.

I remember Joyce as my first softball coach. Just one of the many selfless acts she did in her life. She coached so all of us kids could play softball that year and I appreciate her so much for the best part of my childhood. Joyce always brought out my best behavior with her. She was a very sweet lady and will be missed. I’m glad I was able to reconnect with her recently this year and we had a few talks on the phone before she died which were also good. I’m just happy that she doesn’t have to suffer and is in a much better place than the rest of us. I totally understand how hard this is on Rae,Judy and your kids and all I can say is that it will be more manageable as time goes on. Never easy but life goes on for the rest of us and no matter how hard it is Joyce is in heaven and her love is still watching over yall.So sorry for you guys and love you all❤️
