Virginia L. Rhoads, 84

Virginia L. Rhoads, 84 of Cabot, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on July 15, 1933 to the late Ralph and Sophia Noe. Virginia was a member of the Northside Church of Christ in Beebe, Arkansas and enjoyed gardening, watching the birds, and visiting the ocean with her family and hoping to see some dolphins.

She is also preceded in death by her son, Joseph Lynn Rhoads; four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Joseph Rhoads; daughter, Betty Free (Joe); five grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

A family celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Northside Church of Christ at 2pm in Beebe, Arkansas. 

In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the Southern Christian Children’s Home, P.O. Box 649 Morrilton, Arkansas 72110.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076 501-982-3400.

    She was a such an nspiring lady. I was so lucky having her an my aunt. She was so loving and caring for everyone. We will miss here dearly. Much love to tomher and family.

    I’m sad for your loss but Virginia is in a better place. I hope it gives you some peace through God’s promise of being reunited with her again.

    Uncle Bo, Betty Sue and family, I am saddened by the loss of Aunt Ginger. I love you all so very much. Hugs and prayers for you all as you prepare for her celebration of life. My heavy heart and thoughts are with you all… I have so many fond memories of Aunt Ginger that I will forever treasure.

    I have so many fond memories of Aunt Virginia. She had such a sweet, caring, love for everyone. We will certainly miss her. Thinking of you and praying for peace and comfort that comes from our Heavenly Father. Love you all!
