Elizabeth McLean Bowen, 66

Elizabeth McLean Bowen, 66, of Jacksonville passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017.  She was born on March 14, 1951 in Forrest City, Arkansas to the late Johnny Mac Moses and Betty Maxine McDonald.

Elizabeth was a dedicated member of the New Beginnings Apostolic Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas where she loved being a Sunday school teacher.  She was full of kindness and wisdom; she was strong, smart and always gave people all she could to help.  Elizabeth loved being a great mother, grandmother and always had respect for everyone no matter what.

She is survived by her three daughters Tina Faye Griggs (David), Mindy Martin (Eddie, Jr.) and Fellisha McLean.  She has six grandchildren Tim Callihan, Chris Griggs, Jason Griggs, Eddie “Boy” Martin, John McLean and Jaden McLean; two granddaughters Madison McLean and Emily McLean; and one great-granddaughter Savannah Faye McLean.  She leaves behind her two brothers Robbie Moses and Bill Moses; as well as; her best friends Dorinda Conley and Vival Wilson.  She will be greatly missed by her church family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at New Beginnings Apostolic Church, 2227 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

    She was my best friend growing up in Dixie Acres and even when we both moved to other places.Tina,Mindy,Felisha she loved you and her grandchildren with all her heart. I will miss her prayers for your loss
