James Edward Casey Jr., 83, of North Little Rock passed away January 24, 2018. He was a beloved husband, father, “Papa”, son, brother and friend. James was born February 19, 1934 to James E. Casey Sr. and Flora May in Pine Bluff, Ar. He served our country in the Army and the Airforce and later worked for Texas International Airline for 20 years. James loved to fish, hunt and listen to bluegrass music. He was a faithful Christian and a member of Northview Baptist Church for 40 years.
He was a faithful husband of 61 years to Genell Dunn Casey. He also leaves behind 2 sons (James R. Casey and Ray Casey); 3 daughters (Becky Boles, Vicki Cox and Jan Pope); 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Donald, and granddaughter Casey Lynn.
There will be a celebration of life at Northview Baptist Church 6801 JFK Blvd NLR, Ar. 833-3300 on Saturday January 27, 2018 at 10:30am.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas
