Jo Ann Cooper, 76

Jo Ann Cooper of Hot Springs was born on April 15, 1941 and passed away on February 15, 2018.  Jo Ann was preceded by her parents Charles and Nora Elizabeth Robertson, her sister Grace Mary Smith,  and her granddaughter Whitney Elizabeth Marts, the love of her life.

Jo Ann is survived by her children Pamela A. Marts, Gina K. Marts, Billy (Bo) R. Marts II and grandson Billy R. Marts III.

Jo Ann was known as “The Flower Lady from A Touch of Color”.  Gardening and flowers were her passion.  She will truly be missed by many garden center patrons.  Jo Ann had a tender heart for homeless kitty cats.

Jo Ann was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church; her service will be held at The Columbarium at Christ the King Catholic Church in Fort Smith.  Service date and time not currently determined.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jo Ann’s honor to Paws and Claws Cat Rescue of Hot Springs.

    So saddened by the passing of Jo Ann. From the first time I met her we had a connection. She was a special patient of mine and a remarkable woman. Rest In Peace. My thoughts and prayers to her children.
