I will never forget the first time we met, September 1, 1977, our first day on the job as firefighters. I was a 20 yr. old scared to death kid didn’t have a clue about what I was getting into. Your friendship and guidance not only helped me get through that day but you also helped me gain confidence in becoming a firefighter. You told me not to be scared of doing the job but just respect the job. I will never forget our friendship and all the great times we had. Rest In Peace Andy, I will miss you.

I have wonderful memories of Andy. Such a joyful person who could find something to laugh about even if it was about himself. Such a loyal man. He loved his JFD family. As did I.

Andy I am saddened to hear of your passing. I will always remember you rescuing me off the roof of the “Red House”. I know that my family loved you liked one of our own and you were a true friend to my aunt Tanga and her kids. I know that you are rejoicing with her, your family and friends who have gone before us. Until we meet again.
