Frances E. Handke, 82

Frances E. Handke, age 82, of Cabot passed away on March 4, 2018.  She was born on June 11, 1935 in Denver, Colorado and the daughter of McCoy and Helen Kerr.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and Red Hot Hatters of Cabot.  She worked at the Little Rock AFB Day Care for over 25 years and was an avid Elvis fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son John Coy Handke and sisters Roselyn Spraggins.

Frances will be missed by her husband of 64 years Lloyd Handke; two children Ruth Perciful (Cary) and Laura Gindlesberger (Gindy); five grandchildren Melissa Smith, Chrissy Fisk, Alex Handke, Elizabeth Handke and Kaylee Handke; five great-grandchildren Carlos, Skyler, Mateo, Sophie and Jaxon; a niece Mary Lou Martin.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Hills Baptist Church, Hwy 89, Cabot, Arkansas.  Interment will be held at Pleasant Hills Cemetery.

    I will miss Frances. She is the reason I joined the Red Hatters of Cabot. She was Queen at that time. Went on trips with her. Never was a time that she didn’t come up to me and give a big hug an kiss., no matter where it was (Wendy’s) grocery store, ect. My thoughts and prayer for all the family.
