Rosemary B. Mahoney, age 68, of Cabot passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018. She was born on November 1, 1949 in Las Vegas, Nevada to the late Jack Bailey Hughes and Charlotte Turner-Hughes.
She was a past member of the Order of Eastern Star, Cabot, Arkansas, a past President in 1973 of the Cabot Jaycettes, a Rainbow Girl, a Jobs Daughter, Bethel #2 of Cabot, a Girl Scout Leader, a Life Member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW 4548 and a member of the Red Hat Hatters of Cabot and worked as an Licensed Practical Nurse.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Gmucs, husband Robby of Cabot, grandson Jeremy Wilcox of Cabot, great-grandchildren Joshua, Karis, Kaleb and Madelynn and a brother Jeff Hughes, wife Diana of Cabot.
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Ms. Rosemary was a gift to everyone she met. I enjoyed seeing her at Red Hat meeting. I had a chance to visit with her last month at the St. Patrick’s meeting. She brought laughter to our group and a joy to the world.
I can’t tell you how much I am going to miss my partner in crime. She was not just my best friend she was a sister to me and everyone who met us thought we were sisters. Oh the many memories I will cherish of this beautiful soul
