Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Armond “Frankie” Lucas Jr, 70

Armond “Frankie” Lucas Jr, was born to Armond and Ethel Lucas on April 8, 1948. He received his angel wings on May 27, 2018. Frankie was preceded by his parents.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 51 years, Margaret “Butch” Lucas; his daughter Janis (Mike) Northington; their daughters Amy and Katelyn; His son Brent Lucas and his sons Blake and Blayn. Frankie also leaves behind his precious buddy, great-grandson Landon. Also surviving are his sisters Linda Keesee and Denise (Max) Maxam, along with several nieces and nephews.

Frankie was a graduate of Jacksonville High School and was retired from Horton & Horton Printing. He had a great love for life, never met a stranger, and touched the lives of many people. He truly lived by his moto “Let’s make a memory”.

The family requests that memorials in his name be made to UAMS Cancer Research.

A time of family visitation will be held at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 6-8pm. A memorial celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at 11am at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas with the spiritual direction of Rev. Cliff Hutchins.

Because he was not one to dress up and was a true believer in comfort, please carry on his “dress code” of overall, jeans and bright colors to honor his “zest” for life.

Frankie, Butch and I went through our school years together in Jacksonville, Arkansas at good ole Jacksonville High. Frankie and I graduated in 1967 together and have remained very close friends. He and Butch have been a tremendous influence in my life. I’m going to miss his smile, laughter, warmth and hugs just to mention a few of his out pouring traits. Frankie has always been there for me when I needed him and just saying Im going to miss him is putting it mildly. Our Frankie will never ever be replaced. Frankie save me a seat in your heavenly mansion and remember my heart is full of love for you. Just saying so long my wonderful trusted friend for now, I’ll see you in heaven.

My Dearest “Butch,” and your family…I remember Frankie back in our school days, but didn’t see him after that time…..He was such a kind , caring person, always helping others , giving of his time. You and Frankie were the cutest couple in school, and I knew what the future was bringing you both…..Married 51 years, you were so BLESSED, with him and your children. and you have all those memories to cherish. We will all miss Frankie, but now he is with God and suffers no more. My thoughts and prayers are still with you. and always will be. I love you. Thank you for being my friend…
