Connie Lynn Anderson (Married: Pearman), 67

Connie Lynn Anderson (Married: Pearman), age 67 of Austin, AR, peacefully went to heaven on May 2nd, 2018.

She was born on September 16th, 1950 in Ladysmith, WI. The first born to parents Pastor Roy & Wilma Anderson. As a child, she lived in Wisconsin, Minnesota, New York, & Indiana, where she graduated from Garrett High school in 1968. She raised 2 daughters during her time in Tucson, AZ (1972-1990) and Pleasanton, CA (1990-2012). She received her Masters Degree in Education from The University of Arizona. Connie taught passionately at the elementary and middle school levels, retiring after 39 years of innovatively enhancing the lives of future generations in Tucson, AZ and Northern California.

Connie was a child of God growing up learning and leading in her father’s Congregation. She lived each day as a Disciple of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, shopping, and throwing fantastic events! She kept old friendships real, and always made everyone she encountered feel important and loved. Some even say she had magical pixie dust.

She was an amazing mother to two daughters Shawna (William) Wise of Arkansas, and Traci (Dominic) Lasquete of California, a big sis to siblings Brian, Mark, Scott, Karen, Mary. She was a playful and fun loving Gma to grandchildren Katelynd, Dominic Jr., Kevin, Madelynn, Danica and great-grandchild Hadley, an aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Connie made a friend wherever she went and never forgot a friend either, let us celebrate the friend we had in Connie with a celebration of life in Arkansas at the Cabot United Methodist Church on May 19th at 2:00 PM. A celebration will also take place in Arizona on June 30th at the Westward Look Resort, and in California on July 15th at Temescal Beach House, Oakland.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy or donate books to your local school in honor of Connie.

    We pray for the family to get through this difficult time. I knew Connie for almost 30 years. She was always kind to me and my family. She had a big heart and open arms. Rest in peace Connie.

    She brought joy to each life she touched. Even though I knew her only about five years, I considered her to be as close as a sister. Thank you, Connie, for being part of my life.
