My deep condolences to the Sikes family,
The pain of losing a loved one is oh, so real. I truly understand because recently my husband fell asleep in death after 50 years of marriage. May you find some comfort in the Most High God’s word (Psalms 83:18) . Yes, He promises a time when we can see our loved ones again (Acts 24:15) in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24) and He says where: Psalms 37:11 and how long (Psalms 37:29). May you hold on to God’s promises.
May comfort & peace be with you.

Loved your Dad. I remember the fun times at Heber a he always had great stories. I remember getting Tim and Marty some beer and we got caught. My Dad insistent demand that I go and apologize and I was scared to death. Your Dad wasn’t happy about what happened but he was so nice and used the situation to help me develop character from the situation. I actually felt good about myself after the apology. He built me up instead of adding more shame. Your Dad was a class act to me and a great friend to my father. Sorry for you loss and praying for y’all.
