Devert Ray Settlemoir, 83

Devert Ray Settlemoir, 83 of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed from this life on July 17, 2018. He was born on November 13, 1934 in Pollard, Arkansas to the late Virgle and Goldie Settlemoir.

Ray was a veteran of the United State Air Force and was a retired corporate pilot for Dillard’s Department Stores. 

He is survived by his wife Virginia Settlemoir; three children, Jenny Tierney (Kevin), Deborah Metcalf (Mike), David Settlemoir (Becky); one brother, Marion Settlemoir (Becky); a step-daughter Chandra Lee Gordon (Rickey) and a step-son Robert Lesly O’Neal; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Ray is also preceded in death by his first wife Mary A. Settlemoir.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 6-8pm at A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 9:30am at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

      I wish you two could have been closer. I don’t know what I’d do without my siblings. He loved you and talked about you a lot toward the end.
