Helene Kowalsky, 59

Helene “Peanut” Kowalsky, 59, of Lonoke, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018. She was born on July 21, 1958 to the late Clabe Terrell and Helen Burrow in San Antonio, Texas.  

She is survived by her son Edward “Eddie” Kowalsky and his wife Courtney Kowalsky of Ward, a cousin John Work (Renee) and a host of friends and family members. 

Peanut was a loving mother and enjoyed knitting, volunteering and fishing.  She also loved her animals and was always helping everyone she knew. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 18thfrom 6 P.M. until 8 P.m. in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.

Funeral services and interment will be held on Saturday, July 21stat 2 P.M. at Mission Park Burial Park South, located at 1700 South East Military Drive in San Antonio, Texas, 78214-9458.

In lieu of flowers the family ask the donations be made to A Natural State Funeral Service at 501-982-3400 to help with travel expenses and funeral cost.

    We will miss you my dear friend!! We shared so many special moments in life. Our hearts are heavy although it comforts us to know that you are at peace rejoicing in your eternal home. Until we meet again, your memory will forever be engraved in our hearts.

    Eddie, Your mom was wonderful. I am so blessed to have worked with her at Oakbrooke Elementary. She was always positive and uplifting to all.

    I knew Helene from the church she attended, Immaculate Conception, NLR. I worked in the office and I remember that she made sweet little angels, for each staff member.”
