Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Glen Alan Hibbs, 63

Glen Alan Hibbs, 63, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, died Friday, August 24, 2018 at the place he loved the most on earth.

He was our brother, our Uncle Glen, and our friend; they don’t make enough ink to describe the people whose lives Glen touched in love. Glen was that sort of man, and lived a good life by anyone’s measure. Glen was a homesteader who built his own home and was the family maintenance man, who was always willing to help out when something needed repairs.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Bettie Hibbs, a brother Gary Hibbs and a brother-in-law Charlie Rose.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brothers Larry (DeeDee), Dick, Tim and his sisters Donna and Susan; 12 nieces and nephews and 16 great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I remember at a class reunion Glen introduced be as his first “Best” friend. What an honor to have that memory. The days playing on the ship in the backtard and many more memories. Love to you all.

Glen and I go back to grade school and he was always a great friend. I’ve seen him a few times over the past few years and he was always gracious. He will be missed by many, many folks. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I am out of town, so was unable to attend the service, but my thoughts were with all of you. Our families have been so intertwined over the years. We have so many shared memories. Glen was so good to go visit my dad when he was in the nursing home.
He was a blessing to many. May God bring you peace in your sorrow. Please let me know if I can do anything to help.
