Herbert “Herb” A. Ballentine, 83

Herbert “Herb” A. Ballentine, 83, of Conway passed away on August 1, 2018.  He was born on September 20, 1934 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Eunice and Katie Ballentine.

He was a Baptist in faith and served in the United States Navy before serving in the Army National Guard.

Herb leaves his loving wife of 14 years Violet Ballentine; six children Gary Allen Ballentine (Rhonda), Pam Terry (Ronnie), Kim Shirley (Terry), John Thrailkill (Carol), Allen Thraillkill and Penny Simmons (Butch); 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; one brother Robert Ballentine (Rose Mary) and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at Harmony Baptist Church, Highway 89, Sherwood, Arkansas with funeral services at 2:00 P.M. with interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander, Arkansas.

    He was by far one of the greatest blessings in our life – We love you Papaw and know you’re dancing the night away with Nanny in Heaven. – love John and Patricia Terry along with 5 of your great grandchildren and 2 of your great great grandchildren.
