Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Josephine “Penny” Olive, 66

Josephine “Penny” Olive, 66, of Jacksonville, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 9, 2018. She was born February 28, 1952 in Cebu City, Philippines to Quirino C. Razon and Guadalupe P. Razon.

Penny worked for Stone Container for 30 plus years before retiring to enjoy her life with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Jacksonville for over 35 years and was a proud and loyal servant to her lord. Penny was also a proud supporter and member of the Fil-Am community. Throughout her amazing life, Penny taught many great lessons to people all around, but two lessons will live on in all of us. She taught everyone who knew her what it meant to fight. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2013 but continued to fight every day with a smile on her face until the Lord called her home. She was never a victim, but a survivor; Cancer didn’t know who it was messing with. The second lesson she taught was how to love and be loved. Penny loved with everything she had, which is evident in the way she raised her three amazing children and loved her husband, Harold, until the very end. She had a heart of gold, and to know Penny was to truly love her. The time has come to say good bye to her for now, but it’s never good bye, it’s more of a “we’ll see you later”.

Penny is preceded in death by her father, Quirino C. Razon, and her mother Guadalupe P. Razon, one brother Emilliano C. Razon, and one sister Anita C Razon. She is survived by her loving husband Harold Olive, three children Kathy Abbott (Eric), Karen Dawson, and Kevin Brown (Jessica); and seven grandchildren whom they called Grammy: Tyler Preston, Brianna Dawson, Kelsey Dawson, Colton Abbott, Peyton Abbott, Blaze Brown, and Charlotte Brown. She is also survived by one brother Rodulfo C. Razon Sr and two sisters, Virginia R Jamilo and Maria Lorna R. Dellosa; and many other family and friends left to cherish her memory.

Rosary will be on Wednesday, August 15th at 6 P.M. with Visitation from 6:30 P.M – 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 16th  at 10 AM. All services will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church,  2403 McArthur Drive in Jacksonville.

Memorials and donations may be made in her name to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
