Peggy G. Hazelwood, 83 of Sherwood, Arkansas passed from this life on July 31, 2018. She was born on March 14, 1935 in Florien, Louisiana to the late Robert “Bob” and Zettie Gentry. Peggy loved to play bingo, going to her 55 and alive class with her friends and baking cakes for her family and friends. She attended 1stBaptist church in Sherwood, Arkansas and 1stBaptist Church of Broussard, Louisiana when she lived there and also on her visiting trips.
Peggy is also preceded in death by her sister, Irene Brake. She is survived by her three children, Rebecca Kennedy, Byron Hazelwood (Tami), Shelly Hazelwood-Marr(Chris); five grandchildren, Brandy, Todd, Christopher, Dustin, Amanda; five great-grandchildren and a host of other friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10:00am at A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, in Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

Shelly, Ms. Peggy was such a amazing woman inside and out. She was such a caring person and was such a god send to us. She will be missed dearly.. Loved her to pieces, even when I (Eva) was feeling bad and had my surgery she called and checked on me and always offered to come help. She always was there for us and my mother in law.. she was a amazing friend to her. She was a huge part of our family and will be missed dearly!! Heaven gained a beautiful angel!!
