Hubert L. Graham, 86 of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, September 23, 2018. He was born on May 7, 1932 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Wilbur and Vella Mae Graham. Hubert retired from the United States Air Force in 1970 and later enjoyed volunteering his time playing his guitar at local nursing homes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Wilma Graham; five children, Debra Andrews (Alan), Larry Graham (Janice), Danny Graham (Sherry), Denise Waller (Bill), Bobby Graham (Laurie); ten grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 10am at Marshall Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville with visitation from 9-10 prior to services. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park with full military honors.

To the family of Hubert, I’m sorry for your loss. Certainly the death of one we dearly love is very saddening. I too have experienced such heart break over someone near and dear to me. Revelation 21:4 has provided comfort for me, where is says “And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore”

I am so sorry for this loss…I grew up hearing all about wonderful uncle Huber…and his guitar. I only met him in person a few times but know how loved he is by so many. May he RIP

I only met Hubert once…it was an experience! He was quite a character. Wilma’s stories about him endeared him to all of her Sunday school class. He is thanking her now for introducing him to Jesus and God. He was a very lucky man to have such an awesome family. My prayers are with you all.
i am sorry about Hubert, I was on of his students on Main Street in Jacksonville, Arkansas when he taught Driver’s ed, I also help him clean a carpet at an Apartment Complex years ago
Its really sad when you find out a really good friend pass away all most 3 months ago and no one got in touch with my husband to let him know that his friend pass.

So very sorry to read of your passing! You were my 1st sergeant at chanute afb in rantoul Illinois. .nov.1969 thru feb. 1970…tried many years ago to look you up but never could find you! I have nothing to say but good things about you! I am a musician and participated in a base talent show representing our squadron! You were there for me when I was going through some really difficult times! God bless and keep you always Sgt. Graham!
