Can not believe you are gone Uncle Jerry! You were an amazing person and will miss our weekly conversations at the Pie Shop.
I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Jerry’s family. For right now, there’s no detour around grief, no shortcut through mourning. However, 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, “…power beyond what is normal…”, to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget. It means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28 which says, “… all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out..”. Jesus was referring to the resurrection. That is our amazing hope! The Bible likens our hope to an anchor. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, our hope stabilizes us and keeps us from drowning in overwhelming sadness. One way that God comforts us today is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now, during this time of sorrow. For the Bible’s answers to life’s big questions please visit JW.org.
Jerry was a friend to so many who came to know him. I am happy to call him one of my friends. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for his family.

R I P. Jerry, You will be so dearly missed,
So sorry for your loss. i,ve known jerry for many years. my son pat were school friends. just good friends, my heart goes out to all jerry was mt aircondital guy for many years.
Jerry will be very missed by David & my self. We met Jerry, Kim, Doug & Becky with Mom & Daddy at I-30 years ago. He along with his family were the friendliest fans to be around. Over the years, I dont recall ever seeing Jerry upset or doing anything but having fun and smiling. He loved racing and would appear at the end of the night at the pay window, jaw full of tobacco, collect his winnings and chat for a bit. Even though his late night drive was to Jacksonville, he made time for any friend that wanted to talk. I know his cute crooked smile is much brighter now.
