Steve-o, there are no words for what your friendship means to me. Chili, stupid hot cheese dip, CCR, Ace Combat, tornado clean up, we did it all. You were and always will be my brother.

Miss you, my friend. I can still hear you singing Jim Dandy at karaoke and doing an awesome Johnny Cash. I’m so glad you came to Stacy’s graduation and we had a nice visit then. I appreciate the encouragement you gave her more than you ever could have known. I know you’re having a time riding those golden rails in Heaven! Godspeed, SteveO

You will be greatly missed at the Railroad Museum. Your enthuisiam was contagious and inspired many other people. Hope you’re up riding in the cab now and blowing the whistle, instead of in a chase car.

Steve, I will miss the times we talked about music and seeing you at shows. I wish I could have made it to the Railroad Museum when you worked there. I miss your humor. I am still in shock. Rest in peace, Steve.

You left us way too soon, my friend. The entire railroad preservation community is in mourning over your passing, and shock is too mild a word to describe our feelings at the news. You made contributions that will endure long beyond our short lives, and we hope you know of our gratitude and respect for your accomplishments. You may have moved down the line, but you will not be forgotten. I miss you already, Steve
