James Calvin Blissett, aged 70, of Sherwood, passed away November 20. He was born on October 1, 1948, to D.P. and Maudie Holland Blissett. James is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Carolyn Reed and Barbara Allen.
He is survived by nephews Mike Reed of Sherwood and John Reed of Cabot, a sister Margaret Beasley along with many great-nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to formally thank Jeff and Brenda Bradley, along with their daughter Brittany Bradley, for the many years of care, compassion and love they gave James.
A visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, at Gravel Ridge Cemetery at 2:30p.m. and immediately following will be a graveside service at 3p.m

James. you are with your Mother now, never to be alone again. God has his arms wrapped around you. Thanks to Brenda and Jeff for helping you . They are truly good people. They cooked food for you so you could have some food., at least one good meal a day. I can’t thank them enough for ALL THEY DID. God is taking care of you now. Aunt Bette
