Wanda Marie “Pratt” Ibsen, 95

Wanda Marie “Pratt” Ibsen, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away October 31, 2018 at the age of 95 in her home surrounded by her two loving children, Michael Dane Ibsen and Michelle Janette Ibsen.  Wanda was born September 20, 1923 in Little Rock. She was a loving parent, homemaker, and peacemaker, having raised Mike and Shelley, who at times would try anyone’s patience. Wanda was a dedicated member of Lakewood Methodist Church and rarely missed a service until she was in her nineties. She enjoyed getting dressed up and was rarely ever seen in public not dressed to the “nines”. She also enjoyed cleaning her home, sewing, reading fashion periodicals, traveling internationally with her husband, and spending time with her cat. Wanda sacrificed her own needs to fulfill the dreams of her children and others as well. She will be sadly missed by her children, Michael Dane “Mike” and Michelle Janette “Shelley” (Grady Trimble);  grandchildren, Dane Ibsen (Erica), Sara Compani (Cody), Preston Trimble (Lauren); and seven loving great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of over sixty years, Dr. David Ibsen; her parents, Bo Pratt and Ruth Judd; and her cat she loved so much, Napoleon . In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
