Sally Crook, 78

Sally Crook, 78, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents Monroe McDonald, Jr. and Ersey Shoptaw as well as a brother, Rommie McDonald.

Sally is survived by her son, Steve Crook; grandchildren, Shana (Dustin) McNerlin and Tyler Crook; great grandson, Collin; and a brother, Bill (Ann) McDonald; and her beloved pets, Peanut and Aggie.

She loved watching her grandchildren at their sporting events and cheering on the Razorbacks.  She was an avid quilter and loved sewing and spending time with family.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew her and loved her.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 308 West Main, Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

    Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Sally and I worked together years ago at the Highway Dept. and again at First Jacksonville Bank. She was a very sweet & lovely person.

    Bill, Ann, and all the family. So sad to hear of Sally’s passing. She was a special friend and classmate at Sheridan. Will miss her but we all know she is in a better place. May God comfort each of you during this sad time.

    Sally was a great lady and friend . She always helped me when I needed something done at her work . I have thought about her often lately, she will be so missed . Can’t say enough about what a sweet compassionate lady she was . God bless her family
