Vicki, I am so sorry to hear about Sherri. I had not seen or spoke to her since our Hardin Bale elementary school years, but remember vividly playing “house” at her Broadmoor Dr house. I lived up on the top of the hill. So very, very sorry.

Valeri, Vicki, and David, I am so sorry to hear of Sherri’s passing. She was my first friend in church after we moved to Little Rock, and we remained friends all through high school. We had many fun times together and she will be missed.

I have wonderful memories of Sherri at Arkansas Tech Band Camp for 6 years. We didn’t go to the same school, but we both played clarinet, so we had lots of friendly competition. May all of her loved ones find comfort and peace.

Valeri and Vicki, I’m so sorry for your loss. She loved you so much and felt so protective of you as you were growing up. I know you were a big help to her in these last years too. You probably don’t remember me. We were close friends due to music activities (I played flute) in Little Rock and at years of band camps (with Linda Lincoln too). I remember always the way she made me laugh. I saw her in LR on visits back to family, saw her in New York when the All City Band came to play there her senior year, in San Francisco by happenstance when she worked at the airport, and most recently in 2009 when I came back for my high school 40 year reunion. I know she was struggling with health issues, but somehow I thought I would see her again if I could make it to the 50th reunion this year. I’m so sorry to learn she is gone.
I may have some photos and letters, let me know how to contact you if you’d like to have or see them.
