Blanche Inez (Evatt) Morden, 96, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed on Wednesday, February 6, 2019. She was born in Lonoke County on August 4, 1922 to John Earl and Jessie (Shelton) Evatt. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard E. Morden; siblings, John E. Evatt, Jr. and Dorothy Ellis; son-in-laws, John L. Story and Rex L. Marson. Survivors include her children, Sandra Marson, Marsha Hunter (Keith Steensma), Teresa Allen (John) of Jacksonville, and Michael Morden (Michele) of Conway; her grandchildren, David Chamblee (Robin), Carl Chamblee, Jeryll “Jay” Story (Susan), John Story II, Shannon Hunter ( R.J.Standridge) and Sharon Garcia (Roberto); ten great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
She was a long time member of Jacksonville First United Methodist Church and past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was the manager of Sears in Jacksonville for 25 years.
The family would like to thank the staff at Woodland Hills and Kindred Care for their care and support. Memorials may be made to the Video Ministry at Jacksonville First United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church, 308 W. Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m.

My mom and I were so excited when we got to shop at Sears, one reason was your mother’s sweet smile. She will always be by your side. It will be an honor to send a donation to FUMC in her name.

I was at there house for fish fry and just to visit she told me I was just to visit Leonard I told her no I was to visit both of them because I love both
