Edith Rose Hart, 82

Edith Rose Hart, 82, of Jacksonville passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019.  She was born in Ocean City, New Jersey on January 12, 1937 to the late Theodore Hickman Pierson and Edith Rose Class-Pierson.

She loved to paint and shared many of her watercolor paintings with family and friends.  She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She served in the United States Army and is a proud Veteran.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Virginia Perri.

Edith leaves behind her children Edith King (Gary), Richard E. Hart, Jr. (Linda) and Adrienne L. Miller (Jerry); her granddaughters Jori A. Reynolds (Kevin) and Megan King; her great-granddaughters Alexa, Isabella and Sunny Reynolds; her siblings Joan Rogan and David Pierson (Jan) and a very special friend Ann Skinner. 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and friends at Sherwood Nursing and Rehab.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 9:30 A.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas with services at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Noon at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, Arkansas.

    The joy I know is that she is singing with angels and praising her Savior. She was a pleasure to talk with. I ask God for to bless her family at this time.

    I have fond memories of you that i will jever forget… you were truly a wondeful person .rest in peace till we meet again..love your nephew sreve & family..
