James E. Baswell, 56 of Searcy, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, February 11, 2019. He was born on October 28, 1962 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late James I and Dorthy A. Baswell. James enjoyed riding motorcycles, dancing, joking with his friends and family but most of all he loved his family.
He is also preceded in death by his siblings Terry Baswell, Robbie Baswell, Patricia Baswell and a daughter, Jennifer Pollard.
James leaves behind his children, Shelly Baswell, Terry Baswell, Jennifer Baswell, Carl Killems; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Scott (Ronnie); close friend and ex-wife B.J. Baswell; and a host of other family and friends. His family would also like to give a very special thanks to Janece Smallwood who was his caregiver and mother of his children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 6-8pm at A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10:00am at Life Fellowship Assembly of God Church in Searcy with burial to follow at Gray Cemetery in Romance, Arkansas.
