Marion Lee Higgins, Sr., 68

Marion Lee Higgins, Sr., 68, of Jacksonville passed away on March 6, 2019. He was born on September 21, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Joseph and Jewell Higgins, Sr.

Lee loved the open road and has never met a stranger; he loved driving a truck and exploring new cities, towns and states.  He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend who always enjoyed spending time with his family.  He enjoyed buying and selling cars, singing karaoke and loved his taco Tuesdays. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Sherri Lynn Higgins; his sisters Diana Rose Morgan, Linda Jewell Simkins and Shirley Elaine Trott; his brothers Michael Paul Higgins, Gary Buryl Higgins and David Joseph Higgins. 

Lee leaves behind to cherish the loving wife of 38 years Margaret Higgins; his daughters Susie Michelle Higgins and Sara Leigh Ann Higgins; his son Marion Lee Higgins, Jr.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers Roy Wayne Higgins (JoAnn) and Joseph Buryl Higgins, Jr. (Colleen) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400
