He was a mentor and role model to myself and countless others. His warmth and that Rick Simpson smile and laugh is a memory that will never fade. He will be profoundly missed. I am better for having known and learned from him.
I had the pleasure of working with Rick for 2 years, as a rep for MillerCoors. He was an honest, hard-working, and well-respected man. Rick always told me how it was and I loved him for that. RIP Rick.
Rick gave me the opportunity to work for/with himself and all the other great people at GBB. Even though I was only there for 1 year, I learned a lot from him. I wouldn’t be where I am today without his help.
Rick was one of the first people I met in the beer business. He was a solid honest person who was always up front and sincere. He worked hard and represented his company and products professionally and would always do what he said. Rick was also a great golfer and always pleasant to be around. Rick was a good friend and I will miss him very much. My sincere condolences to the Simpson Family and the Glazers family he worked with.
Keeping the entire Simpson family in prayers at the loss of Richard. May the peace of God surround each one of you.

Rick was a teddy bear . He would comfort and cut you at the same time. We would always tease him about that and he would just chuckle. Rick you will be miss, and no one will ever replace you . Smiles are all day in heaven Rick.

My condolences to the Simpson Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Rick was a great partner in business and he will be sorely missed. RIP Rick
Our deepest sympathy to Karen and the rest of Rick’s family. Cynthia and I enjoyed the time we spent with you two on our trip to Atlanta many years ago. Rick was a great guy and was always level headed and smart in our interactions at work. The world will miss a wonderful guy but heaven rejoices in another angel!!
I played high school golf with Rick back in the day, he was the #1 bag and I was #4 bag. He always helped me better my game when he could. After a stint in the oilfield together , he was my best man at my wedding 38 years ago today. He was a gental giant and always courteous. We lost touch soon after his first big move to a Dallas oilfield job but i never forgot him and always wondered.
Our sincere condolences go our to his family
I worked for Karen at Kroger’s and Rick would come in our store and we watched them come together and eventually go to their wedding. The two nicest people found each other and I am so sorry for your loss. Just know you are in your Kroger family prayers.
