Ryan could be a handful at times, but anyone who knows him knows there is a sweet, kind-hearted, and caring young man underneath the rough outer layers. Ryan has spoke up for me when others would simply clam up. Whatever he has been going through recently, and he has definitely been going through something, I hope he has now been relieved of this burden. My thoughts and prayers go out especially to his parents and family. I am so so so sorry for your loss. Ryan, you were loved and will be greatly missed.

Tommy, Nina, Elizabeth, and Rebekah~Robert and I are sending our love and prayers. Ryan was like a brother to us growing up. We laughed and fought just like siblings! So many of our childhood memories have Ryan in them. From the day we moved in when Ryan and Robert where going into 1st grade until we moved their 7th grade year, they were inseparable. Always fishing and riding their bikes and at times annoying the mess out of Elizabeth and I. We are all just heartbroken for all of you and his children. Much love~ The Spears Siblings~Robert & Stephanie

I’m so sorry for your loss. Grief can be a difficult emotion to deal with. There are, however, 12 basic guidelines that can help you cope with grieving. They’re used by many grief counselors and they’re also biblical. You can download a free copy of the magazine titled “Help for those who Grieve “@jw.org
