So sorry to hear about Rick. Will be praying for the family. Rick was a huge part of Gravel Ridge Fire Department. He helped so many people on fire and rescue calls. He made Gravel Ridge a much safer place with his service.

My dad, Danny Turner, was a volunteer firefighter in Gravel Ridge in the late 80s until his death in the 90s. I have a lot of fond memories of Christmas parties at the fire station and good memories of Rick and Avanda. I’m just neither would remember me, but I remember you guys. I hope the sorrow of his death is short and the good memories are long.
